Sam's Leadership Message

Hi, my name is Sam, I am 10 years old and my class is A8.

I wanted to be a leader because I enjoy helping out the school and the
teachers.  I wanted to contribute my school values in sport and to my
class mates.

What really inspired me at leaders day was to make the right choices for who my friends are and what I want my future to be.  Pat Buckley described the choices he made in life like the bad and good choices but his main point was to trust yourself.

Sam Brocks Leadership Message is to try your hardest to achieve your own goals and one day you might.  I believe in myself so I encourage others to believe in themselves too.

E.H.S Leadership

My name is Callum.  I wanted to be a leader at Eastern Hutt because you get to do lots of fun things e.g. leading assemblies, going on trips and meeting with Mrs Henderson to find out what’s going on at school.

At NYLD11 we heard a few speakers.  My favourite one was the Laughing Samoans but the most interesting was Jamie Fitzgerald.  He is an adventurer and did some cool things like canoeing across the Pacific Ocean and walking across the South Pole.

I learnt from Jamie Fitzgerald that if you dream it you can do it.  Your future lies in your hands.
